Ranchi, Jan 23: Several organisations including SSC, HPCL, and CRPF among others have invited applications to fill up vacancies in their respective organisations.
STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION (SSC)
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invited applications for around 11,409 posts. Under this, there are 10,880 posts for MTS, while there are 529 posts for Havildar (Constable). Interested 10th pass candidates will be able to apply online till February 17 by visiting the official website of the Commission. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written and physical tests. The selection test will be conducted in April.
Age Range
For the posts of Constable, the age range for general category candidates is between 18 and 27 years. Meanwhile, the reserved category candidates have been given age relaxation as per the government rules. Here, SC / ST category candidates have been given a relaxation of 5 years, while OBC candidates will get a relaxation of 3 years.
Qualification
Candidates must have passed 10th from a recognized board. It is also necessary that the candidates pass the 10th examination before January 1, 2023.
Selection Process
Initially, the candidates will be first attempting the computer-based exam. The exam will be held in two sessions of 45 minutes each. In Session 1, questions will be asked about Numerical, Maths, Problem Solving, and Reasoning, while the second session will have questions about General Awareness, English Language and Comprehension.
Session 1 will not have a negative marking, while students may have a negative marking in Session 2. In Session 2, one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Session 1 will be of 60 marks, wherein 20 questions will be asked. Session 2 will be 75 marks and will have 25 questions. Each question will carry three marks.
Physical Test will be held for the post of Havildar
- Physical Standard Test
- Height of male – 157.5 cm.
- Height of woman – 152 cm. and weigh at least 48 kg
- Male’s chest – 81 cm.
- Male candidates will have to walk 1600 meters in 15 minutes
- Women have to complete a 1 km race in 20 minutes
Application Fee
To apply for the recruitment process, candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. Women candidates, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) are exempted from paying the application fee.
HINDUSTAN PETROLEUM REFINERY LIMITED (HPCL)
Hindustan Petroleum Refinery Limited (HPCL) has invited applications for recruitment for 142 posts. For this, interested candidates up to 42 years of age can apply online till January 26 by visiting the official website of Rajasthan Refinery Limited.

HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited (HRRL) has invited applications for 142 posts, under which recruitment will be done in E1, E2, E3, E5 and E6 grades. Out of these 142 vacancies, 67 posts are for E1 grade. 68 are for E2 grade, 47 for E3 grade, and 4 for E5 grade. Similarly, 6 posts will be recruited in E6 grade.
Fees
The application fee for General, EWS and OBC candidates is Rs.500 for the application. At the same time, reserved category candidates will not have to pay the application fee.
Salary
On getting selected in the recruitment process, the candidate may expect a salary ranging from Rs 40,000 – Rs 2, 40,000.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates for 142 posts of Engineer in Rajasthan Refinery Limited will be based on Written Tests, Group Tasks and Personal Interviews. After this, the department will prepare the merit list on the basis of total marks. The candidate with the highest marks in these will be selected.
CENTRAL RESERVE POLICE FORCE (CRPF)

Age Range

Candidates must have a 12th pass to participate in the recruitment process.
Application Fee
General and OBC category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. While no application fee will be charged to the candidates of the Scheduled Tribe category, Scheduled Caste category and Women.
Salary
- Candidates selected for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector (Steno) will be given a salary ranging from Rs 29 thousand 200 to Rs 92 thousand 300 under pay-level 05.
- Candidates selected for the post of Head Constable (Ministerial) will be given a salary of Rs 25 thousand 500 to Rs 81 thousand 100 under pay-level 04.
Selection Process
The selection of the candidate will be done on the basis of a written test, skill tests, physical tests, medical tests and document verification. The skill test of the candidate will be held in both Hindi and English languages. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the written test.
