At the executive meeting of the AHPI Jharkhand chapter held at RPS Hospital Bariyatu, Ranchi on Thursday evening under the chairmanship of outgoing committee president Yogesh Gambhir of  Raj Hospital, both were selected unanimously and the house authorized them to pick up other office bearers of the Association.

Dr RS Das, Dr Rajesh Kumar, Yogesh Gambhir, Syed Ahmed Ansari and Dr Amar Kumar Singh gave suggestions at the meeting for solving burning problems being faced by hospitals and doctors.

“The State government has sought suggestions from the stakeholders for amendment in Clinical Establishment Act. A joint committee of the Jharkhand Health Service Association (JHSA), Indian Medical Association and health department officials has already given points for amendment.  The AHPI has requested its all 24 district chapters to send suggestions separately in the interest of the hospital as well as patients,” said Dr Singh.

The AHPI office bearers pointed out that in the present situation hospitals, staff, doctors and patients all are suffering. So the amendment to the Clinical Establishment  Act should be done keeping the interest and safety of all stakeholders, they added.
