Dubai, Nov 14: Australia will face New Zealand in the final of T20 world cup on Sunday at Dubai ground. Both the teams have never won the world title in this format, so this time it is certain to get a new world champion in T20. Where Kiwi has reached the final of the World Cup for the first time, the Kangaroo team will be seen playing the final for the second time.
New Zealand has recently emerged as the most successful team in ICC tournaments. In the 2019 ODI World Cup also, the Kiwi team reached the final, but then they were denied the trophy on the basis of low boundaries after the match and Super Over were tied.
Talking about the strength and weakness of both the teams, Australia is strong in batting and New Zealand in bowling. In T20 cricket, the team with good batting usually has the advantage, but this tournament has proved to be low-scoring and good bowling has been more important for victory.

Toss has played a very important role in this T20 World Cup. Except Sharjah, out of 14 matches played in the Super 12s, only once has the team batting first been able to defend their score. In this sense, the team winning the toss can choose to field first. However, the final match is a high-pressure match and batting first is beneficial in such encounters. In Dubai itself, Chennai Super Kings won the IPL final by batting first.
