They said the company always believed in the principle of building trusted partnerships with the employees, customers, environment, and communities.

” Once again, we would like to reaffirm our commitment to our Jamshedpur operations and continue to contribute to the development and prosperity of the state of Jharkhand and the Jamshedpur region. We will continue to do so by powering the success of our customers, stakeholders, communities, and benefactors, ” said the joint statement.

Notably, Tata Cummins Private Limited was established in 1993, as a 50:50 joint venture between Tata Motors Limited, India’s largest automobile manufacturer, and Cummins Inc., USA, world leaders in the design and manufacture of diesel engines.

The company manufactures high-performance, reliable, and durable mid-range engines in the 75 to 400 HP range that not only comply with current and future emission norms but are also serviceable globally.
