Ramgarh, Nov 9: Tata Steel Foundation (TSF), West Bokaro Division and Model Career Centre, in collaboration with Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL), Hosur, Tamil Nadu, recruited 208 women who will be placed on the TEPL rolls as Junior Technicians once they have completed the two-week training programme.
The programme is anticipated to begin in November and is planned and led by TSF, West Bokaro. 55 girls had already joined TEPL earlier this year. 181 of 263 girls selected this year (FY2023) are from the 14-gram panchayats in Tata Steel West Bokaro Division’s operational areas.
After successful completion of the two-week training, candidates will be provided with boarding and lodging facilities at a nominal monthly charge of INR 2,000/- and after a year of service when their jobs get confirmed, a monthly salary of INR. 16,000/- will be awarded. The package also includes free transportation by the Company, from their hostel and office. In FY2023 this year, it is expected that more than 215 West Bokaro females would enlist. 25 West Bokaro girls joined TEPL last year.
