Jamshedpur, May 24: The Tata Group, India’s leading conglomerate, has achieved yet another milestone by being the only Indian company to feature in the prestigious Boston Consulting Group (BCG) survey of the 50 most innovative companies globally.

The Tata Group secured an impressive 20th position in the rankings, a testament to its commitment to innovation and forward-thinking strategies.

The BCG ranking, based on extensive research and analysis, is a result of a survey conducted among more than 1,000 global innovation executives in December 2022 and January 2023.

The company disclosed the ranking and the survey report today.

The survey assessed companies on four critical dimensions, with an average of normalized scores determining the overall ranking.

The Tata Group’s inclusion in the top 50 most innovative companies globally highlights its dedication to fostering a culture of innovation and its relentless pursuit of excellence.

“This recognition not only reinforces the Tata Group’s position as a global industry leader but also serves as a testament to its continuous efforts to drive positive change and shape the future,” said a spokesman.

The BCG rankings are based on various parameters- global mindshare, industry peer review, industry disruption and value creation.
