Tata Steel announces vacancy for trainee engineers

Jamshedpur, Feb 9: Tata Steel has invited applications for trainee engineers. According to a circular issued by the company, the trainee engineers would get a monthly stipend of Rs 30,000 for a period of one year.

The applications will be accepted online till March 3, stated the circular.

After completing the training for one year, the successful candidates would be absorbed into the company as Assistant Managers. 

The applicants should have qualifications of  B.E, B.Tech or B.Sc degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. 

They should have studied MCA or MCA with Maths, Statistics, Physics or Operational Research. 

The candidates will be provided with an annual package of Rs 6.24 lakh as CTC and would also be linked to mediclaim scheme with Rs 2.5 lakh coverage and Rs 6000 for OPD expenses. 

According to the circular, permanent Tata Steel employees cannot participate in the recruitment process.
