Jamshedpur, Aug 25: Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Ltd (formerly JUSCO), the local civic guardian of Jamshedpur which looks after municipal and allied services today unveiled its new logo to mark two decades of service.
For the last 20 years, the utility company has been providing civic amenities like water, electricity and sanitation to the residents of Jamshedpur.
Addressing the launch function at the JUSCO corporate office, Chanakya Chaudhary, vice-president (Corporate Services), Tata Steel said that JUSCO has established itself as a brand and that it is known for excellence.
The function was also attended by JUSCO managing director Ritu Raj Sinha and various union functionaries.
A subsidiary of Tata Steel, Tata Steel UISL set- up in 2004 has emerged as a leader in managing a spectrum of services including E power distribution, integrated town maintenance, quality water supply and real estate developments.
Chaudhary praised Tata Steel UISL for its remarkable achievements, highlighting the significant role it plays in the group’s overall mission. He emphasized the company’s consistent efforts in raising the bar for service quality and operational excellence.
Later, addressing media men, Ritu Raj Sinha outlined the company’s commitment to enhance the quality of life in Jamshedpur. He also emphasized on the ongoing efforts to improve power/ water supply, road infrastructure and other civic and allied services.
