Jamshedpur, Sept 26: Tata Steel’s Jamshedpur works got installed a rooftop solar power project of 2.2 MWp capacity.
The facility was inaugurated by Probal Ghosh, vice-president of Shared Services, Tata Steel at the central warehouse inside Jamshedpur works.
This is the first rooftop project commissioned by Tata Power under the larger agreement with Tata Steel for the installation of a total of 41MW at various locations with a combination of rooftop, floating and ground-mounted. This is the first project commissioned by Tata Steel with greater than 1 MW capacity.
