Jamshedpur, July 4: South Eastern Railway (SER) has decided to provide two minutes temporary stoppage at Posoita station under South Eastern Railway’s Chakradharpur division.
SER officials said that two trains during the period from July 8 to August 27 (every Saturday and Sunday) will halt at Posoita for the Bhandara programme to be organised as a part of Shravani Mela.
22862 Kantabanji-Titlagarh-Howrah Ispat Express will halt at Posoita on July 8, 15, 22, 29, August 12, 19 and 26.
18189 Tatanagar-Ernakulam Express will halt at Posoita station on July 9, 16, 23, 30, August 6, 13, 20 and 27.
Notably, thousands of devotees visit the Shiva Temple at Posoita in West Singhbhum to offer Puja during the auspicious month of Shravan.
This year, as per the Hindu calendar, Shravan will continue for two months having eight Mondays.
