Therefore, guidelines are being given to the health workers working towards improving health services in the district. So that no person of the district has to go to other places for treatment. The Deputy Commissioner first learned about the progress of the construction work of the newly built PSA Oxygen Plant. The company’s sensor present on the spot was directed to handover the completion of the construction work of the oxygen plant as soon as possible.
Medicine and OPD registration counter should be marked separately
Deputy Commissioner Aditya Ranjan took stock of the status of the OPD registration counter. In this sequence, he found that due to the presence of medicine counter and OPD registration counter, a large crowd of patients was seen. Deputy Commissioner Aditya Ranjan took stock of the CT scan, ultrasound and X-ray wards operated by Health Map India at Sadar Hospital. While giving instructions to the Health Map India Manager and the Hospital Manager, he said that make sure to make proper arrangements for the patients to sit. During the inspection of the blood bank and pathology ward, the Deputy Commissioner inquired about the arrangements from the doctors and personnel there. It was told by the personnel that there is a shortage of some equipment, the Deputy Commissioner directed the Civil Surgeon to provide the equipment immediately.
Instructions to start OPD registration centre in emergency ward
Deputy Commissioner Aditya Ranjan took stock of the emergency ward. While directing the civil surgeon, he said that he would ensure to start a separate OPD registration centre for the patients in the emergency ward. He also talked about building a nursing station. He said that the emergency ward would be developed as a model ward.
Instructions to make nursing station in patients’ ward
Taking stock of the male and female wards present in the Sadar Hospital, Deputy Commissioner Aditya Ranjan directed the Civil Surgeon to set up nursing stations in all the wards. However, during the inspection, he found the arrangement of the labour room satisfactory. He was instructed to raise the table in this room. Visiting the dialysis centre should have five beds under the MoU, but only three beds were found. The Deputy Commissioner directed to increase two beds within the next one week. Also inquired about the arrangements of general OT and dental OT and their functions.

Deputy Commissioner Aditya Ranjan, in the course of inspection, interacted with the patients treated in Sadar Hospital and inquired about the health services provided to them. Patients were told that better treatment is done by the doctors. Deputy Commissioner Mr. Aditya Ranjan, after receiving information about the complete arrangements of Sadar Hospital, directed Civil Surgeon Dr. AB Prasad and Deputy Superintendent to rectify the shortcomings of the hospital.
