Mumbai, March 24: The second week of film ‘The Kashmir Files’ saw a drop in revenue, but it still surpassed the Rs 200 million milestone. The film’s Wednesday box office took in roughly ten crore rupees.
The film has surpassed the lifetime earnings of the previous post-epidemic blockbuster, Sooryavanshi, to become the most profitable Hindi film since the pandemic.
The exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from Jammu and Kashmir in 1990 is the subject of The Kashmir Files. Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumaar, Pallavi Joshi, Puneet Issar, and others star in the film, which was written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri.
The popularity of The Kashmir Files appears to have impacted Akshay Kumar’s latest film Bachchhan Paandey’s predicted box office reaction. In just five days, the film has made roughly Rs. 41 crore. Earlier, Aamir Khan had also said that everyone should watch the film.
