Ranchi, Nov. 4: Three criminals shot a Bank Mitra in broad daylight at Tati Chowk located on the National Highway of Lohardaga Kudu police station area.
The 20-year-old Bank Mitra identified as Amar Paswan was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The police chased the three criminals with the help of the villagers and caught them. Two accused are from Herhanj in Latehar, and one is from Lohardaga.
A large number of villagers gathered at the spot after the incident. The police saved the accused from villagers’ anger as the mob was intent on killing the accused by thrashing them.
