Dhanbad, April 7: In the wake of a third line commissioning between the Ruma-Chandari rail section of the North Central Railway (NCR), the East Central Rail (ECR) zone has diverted the route of three express trains and rescheduled the timing of nine other for April 12-13.
A senior officer of Dhanbad Rail Division said that due to non–interlocking (NI) work on the track between two stations, routes of Howrah- Jodhpur and other trains have been temporarily diverted. Moreover, on Saturday( April 8) Ajmer–Sealdah Express would go till Howrah and would also start from there.
As per the notification issued by ECR Zone, on April 12 train no. 12307 Howrah- Jodhpur Express which would kick start from Howrah would run through the diverted route of Prayagraj- Chhivki- Manikpur-Agra Cantt’ and Unchhera station.
Train No.12987 Sealdah- Ajmer Express which would kick start from Sealdah on April 12 would run via Prayagraj-Chhivki- Manikpur-Agra-Cantt’ and Unchhera station.
Train No. 22308 Bikaner- Howrah Express which will kick start from Bikaner on April 12 would also run from the diverted route of Unchhera- Agra Cantt- Virangana Laxmibai ( Jhansi)-Manikpur- Prayagraj –Chhivki station.
Besides it, the divisional railway official said nine other express trains would start 150 minutes late from scheduled origin stations on April 12-13 due to NI work.
