Three Vehicle Thieves Arrested With Weapons in Ranchi

Ranchi: Ranchi police have arrested three vehicle thieves and recovered weapons, including a country-made pistol and a stolen scooter. The arrested individuals have been identified as Balwant Singh, Roshan Kumar Singh, and Rahul Kumar. Based on their confession, the police recovered a country-made pistol, one live round, and a scooter stolen from the Kotwali police station area. City SP Rajkumar Mehta shared these details during a press conference on Thursday.

Weapons and Stolen Vehicles Recovered

City SP Rajkumar Mehta revealed that on January 1, three individuals were detained at the Doranda police station with a stolen pickup van. During interrogation, the suspects confessed to stealing the vehicle on the night of December 29 from the Industrial Area.

The accused admitted to carrying a country-made pistol, one bullet, and a master key during the theft. Following their lead, the police recovered the pistol, ammunition, and a scooter stolen from the Kotwali area.
