CLAT

The Consortium of National Law University (NLU) conducts the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), a national-level exam, with the goal of admitting meritorious applicants who are qualified to enrol in undergraduate and graduate-level law programmes in India. 

The admission test serves as a doorway to a rewarding career in the legal industry by providing courses in the 21 participating National Law colleges and numerous other institutions across the nation. Being one of the most famous admission tests for the legal profession, CLAT recently updated the test format. The pupils are now asked questions about current events rather than being tested on their ability to cram. We shall discuss a variety of exam-related topics in this blog.

AILET

For admission to undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral level law programmes, National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) administers the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET). This is a national-level entrance examination specifically for NLU Delhi’s legal programmes. The test is administered using pen and paper from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.

LSAT

Although many law schools throughout the world provide intensive degrees in this area, attending top colleges increases its appeal. The requirement for practising law is a bachelor’s degree, such as an LLB. Some of the BA LLB disciplines that provide you with a broad overview of the judiciary, legislature, and human behaviour are the political system, introductory economics, preliminary psychology, basic sociology, etc. 

The LSAT test is necessary to get accepted into a law school. An aptitude test is used to assess applicants based on a variety of criteria to make sure that only highly qualified and committed candidates are selected for the course. 

DU LLB/LLM

Since its establishment in 1924, the Faculty of Law has produced legal luminaries who have served as judges, high court and supreme court advisors, and highly skilled Advocates. Every year, the institution receives thousands of applications from undergraduate students hoping to start a legal profession by taking the DU LLB exam. 

Only a small number of bright young people are chosen to enrol in the University of Delhi’s LLB programme, one of the most prestigious law programmes in India, as a result of intense competition. 

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University CET

Every year, the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University holds the IPU CET exam for admission to undergraduate and graduate programmes in engineering, medicine, dentistry, law, and management. GGSIPU offers courses including MBA, B.Tech., M.Tech., LLB, and MCA.

JMI Law Entrance Test

The Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University administers the Jamia Millia Islamia entrance examination to select applicants for admission to a variety of UG and PG programmes in engineering, architecture and planning, hospitality and travel, animation, mass communication, humanities and social sciences, commerce, and teaching and education. For each programme, the admission exam results are released separately.

BHU UET Law

The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) administers the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET) for admission to the LL.B. (Hons) (Three Year/ Six Semester) Course every year in the third or fourth week of May. Subject to meeting the qualifying requirements listed below and seat availability, admissions are granted based on merit in the UET.

CULEE

Christ University (CU) will choose the applicants for the undergraduate legal studies programmes based on the results of the CULEE 2023 exam. Candidates can enrol in BA LLB and BBA LLB degree programmes by participating in CULEE 2023. Candidates must first meet the CULEE 2023 eligibility requirements in order to participate.

To be admitted to Christ University, candidates who pass the exam must also pass the skill assessment, micro presentation, and personal interview rounds. The CULEE 2023 exam will be taken offline, and candidates will have two hours to complete 120 questions.

SET (Symbiosis Law Entrance Test)

Symbiosis University administers the SET exam at the college level to admission students to its UG and Integrated Courses programmes. Admission will be available in the fields of management, law, economics, and more. Every year, a number of cities around the nation host the online SET exam.

AMU Law Entrance Test

Through an entrance exam, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will choose the applicants for its BA LLB Course. Candidates who wish to take this exam must fill out and submit an online application. The AMU BA LLB 2023 application process is anticipated to start in the month of February 2023.

BVP Law

The college’s global academic environment, top-notch research facilities, and instruction from judges make it one of India’s best institutions for legal education. Students are equipped to participate in legal assistance and social justice initiatives as well as international moot court competitions.

APLAWCET

For admission to law programmes offered at Andhra Pradesh Universities and their affiliated colleges, the Andhra Pradesh Common Law Entrance Test (APLAWCET) is a state-level entrance exam that is administered by Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati, on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).
