Jamshedpur, Sept 27: Keeping in view the demand of passengers, South Eastern Railway ( SER) has decided to introduce a special train between Jasidih ( Jharkhand) and Vasco Da Gama ( Goa).
The train which will go via Ranchi will chug off on its journey from Tuesday, September 28.
A circular issued by the office of chief passenger transportation manager ( CPTM) of South Eastern Railway on Monday said on the inaugural day the Jasidih-Vasco Da Gama Special ( 06398) will leave Jasidih at 1.15 pm.
The date of regular run of the train will be notified later.
On the inaugural day the Jasidih-Vasco Da Gama Special ( 06398) will leave Jasidih at 1.15 pm on Tuesday and will arrive at Vasco Da Gama at 2.40 pm on Thursday.
The train will have two AC 2 tier, three AC 3 tier, five sleeper class and two general second class coaches and will have stoppages at Bokaro Steel City, Muri, Ranchi, Hatia, Rourkela and Jharsuguda in SER jurisdiction.
