Jamshedpur, April 23: In view of a traffic-cum-power block for the launching of a Limited Height Subway in South Eastern Railway’s Adra-Midnapur section of Adra division, the train services would remain affected in Chakradharpur and other divisions of the South Eastern Railway on April 24.
- The 08680/08679 Adra-Midnapur-MEMU Passenger Special will remain cancelled on Sunday, April 24.
- The 12883 Santragachi-Purulia Rupashi Bangla Express leaving Santragachi on Sunday will be short terminated at Bankura.
- The 12884 Purulia-Howrah Rupashi Bangla Express leaving Purulia on Sunday will short originate from Bankura.
- Therefore, service of 12883/12884 will remain cancelled between Bankura and Purulia- on Sunday.
- The 18024 NSCB Gomoh-Kharagpur MEMU Express leaving NSCB Gomoh on Sunday will be short terminated at Adra.
- The 18023 Kharagpur-NSCB Gomoh MEMU Express leaving Kharagpur on April 24 will be short originated from Adra.
- Therefore, the service of 18024/18023 will remain cancelled between Adra and Kharagpu on April 24.
- The 18628/18627 Ranchi-Howrah-Express leaving Ranchi and Howrah on Sunday will run on a diverted route via Kotshila-Purulia-Chandil-
Tatanagar-Kharagpur instead of Kotshila-Bokaro Steel City-Chandrapura-Mohuda-Adra- Midnapur and Kharagpur.
A circular issued by Garden Reach, the Kolkata based headquarters of South Eastern Railway said that apart from this movement of several other trains will be affected on Sunday because of the traffic-cum- power block.
