Trial of Jharkhand badminton team for SGFI at Ranchi tomorrow

Dhanbad, May 30: The selection trial of the Jharkhand state badminton team for the 66th School Games Federation of India (SGFI) will be held tomorrow in Thakur Vishwanath Shahdev Stadium of the Mega sports complex Hotwar, Ranchi, tomorrow.

Administrative officer of Jharkhand Education Project Council Jayant Kumar Mishra said that selection trials of state teams are being organized for six events badminton, football, Judo, Volleyball, table tennis and hockey tomorrow.

All interested participants have to report at 6 am tomorrow for a selection trial at the designated stadium earmarked by authorities for different events.

The School Education and Literacy  department has  appointed coordinators for all six events  badminton ( Nirmal Chandra Dey, Mohit M Minz), football ( Ashish Bose, Pramod Kumar), Judo (Upendra Kumar, Sushil Kachhap), Volleyball ( Uttam Raj Amit Kumar), table tennis ( Ramranjit Singh, Sushant Kachhap)and hockey ( Vijay Shankar Singh, Lalit Jugnu Minz)

Badminton event coordinator Nirmal Chandra Dey said that it is under 19 trials and so a participant’s birth should be on 1-1-2004 or thereafter. The participants would have to submit a birth certificate copy before the trial.

The participant would have also to submit a mark sheet of class 8 or class 10 along with six passport-size photographs.
