Ramgarh, June 11: A trial run of the Vande Bharat train with state-of-the-art facilities will be done between Patna and Ranchi tomorrow via Gaya and Barkakana. This train will depart from Patna Junction at 06.55 hrs and reach Gaya at 08.20 hrs and depart from here at 08.30 hrs to reach Ranchi at 13.00 hrs. In return from Ranchi to Patna, this train will leave Ranchi at 14.20 hrs and reach Gaya at 19.00 hrs and from here it will reach Gaya at 19.10 hrs & reach Patna at 20.25 hrs.
This trial run of Vande Bharat will be done purely for operational/experimental purposes for safety checks etc. before regular operations. During the trial general passengers will not be allowed to enter the train.
In up and down direction, it will be operated via Jehanabad, Gaya, Barkakana, Koderma, Hazaribagh Town and Mesra.
“During the trial run, this train will be operated at high speed. That’s why it is appealed by the railway administration that common people should keep a proper distance from the railway track as well as keep the cattle away from the railway track,” said Chief Public Relations Officer Virendra Kumar on Sunday.
