Ramgarh, July 28: The special team formed for the raid and recovery of illegal weapons arrested one miscreant of the Pandey Gang on Thursday.
SP Piyush Pandey, at a press conference on Friday, said,” The accused is identified as Vikash Kumar Singh alias Vicky Singh. Illegal weapons, a country-made pistol and five live bullets loaded were recovered from him. Later, on the information from him, a pistol, five live bullets and five magazines were recovered. During further raids, a motorcycle R15 used in Hardev Construction was recovered from Kapil Kumar’s house located in Rasda”.
“On the trail of the arrested accused, Kapil Kumar, who had hidden the said vehicle, was arrested. All the recovered weapons and bikes were also used in the incident related to Hardev Construction and Bitka Bauri murder,” the SP added.
The recovered/confiscated articles include one country-made pistol loaded with five live bullets, two country-made pistols with loaded empty magazines, a magazine loaded with five live bullets and four empty magazines, a Narzo 50A mobile phone, a motorcycle R15 bearing registration number – JH01DP – 6721.
