Mandi, Oct 26: In the Mandi district, the Anti-Narcotic Task Force (ANTF) of the Himachal Police apprehended two individuals and confiscated 9.923 kg of cannabis, the police stated on Thursday.
As per ANTF officials, the accused individuals have been recognized as Girdhari Lal Singh (26) and Arun Kumar (22).
“One car has also been recovered from the accused’s possession,” they said.
In the Sunder Nagar police station, a case has been filed against the two individuals under sections 20, 25, and 29 of the NDPS (Narcotics, Drugs, and Psychotropic Substances) Act.
The state police established the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) in order to combat the drug problem in the state. In the state, the ANTF has three field units in Kangra, Kullu, and Shimla.
