Daltonganj July 20: Two poachers, Jagesh Nagesia and Manish Nageshia, of Orsa village were arrested and remanded in judicial custody today in Latehar in a case of poaching of a four-year-old female Kotra, said Ranger Brinda Pandey of the Mahuadanr range of the Palamu Tiger Reserve (PTR).
“We have recovered one and a half kg of uncooked meat of Kotra also besides the broken jaw and hoof,” said the ranger.
The two poachers have been booked under sections 9, 50 and 51 of the Wildlife Protection Act.
