New Delhi, Sept 13: Anurag Thakur, Minister of Information and Broadcasting, said the Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved a resolution praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making the G20 Summit a big success.
Rajnath Singh, the Defence Minister, had proposed the resolution, which was approved unanimously, stated Thakur, who addressed the media following a cabinet meeting presided over by Prime Minister Modi.
The cabinet acknowledged that the successful hosting of the G20 Summit was a source of great pride for the entire nation and that several of Prime Minister Modi’s initiatives, like the founding of the Global Biofuels Association and the admission of the African Union to the group, had been adopted with broad support, Thakur said.
