Ramgarh, April 20: Minister of State of Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment cum In-charge Minister Aspirational District Program Ramgarh Kumari Pratima Bhowmik held a meeting with Deputy Development Commissioner Nagendra Kumar Sinha and other officials of the district on Wednesday in the Collectorate’s meeting room.
She reviewed the work being done in Ramgarh under the Aspirational District Program. At the same time, she gave many important instructions for the work being done on different parameters to improve the delta ranking issued by NITI Aayog every month and to improve the ranking in comparison to other districts of Ramgarh at present.
The minister was informed about the work being done by different departments for the development of Ramgarh district through a PPT presentation by Vindhyavasini Rai, District Lead of Piramal Foundation.
They were given detailed information about the ongoing and completed schemes. In this regard, she directed the officers of the concerned department to take necessary action to complete the schemes in time.
To improve the ranking, the minister gave necessary instructions to the officers of different departments regarding setting targets and moving forward on them, while working in a planned manner, while she also directed various schemes run by the Central Government such as the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural).
She directed to complete 100 percent of work against the target achieved under all the schemes run by the Government of India including Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, Prime Minister’s Small Irrigation Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana.
The minister, after taking information from the Civil Surgeon Ramgarh about the health facilities being provided to pregnant women and other women in rural areas, directed them to ensure all pre-natal check-ups of pregnant women at the same time through health workers. While conducting a survey related to anaemia and other diseases in rural areas, instructed to work as per the requirement.
Bhowmik directed the District Education Officer to ensure the basic facilities including toilets in all the schools and take the necessary action by checking their status regularly.
While reviewing the facilities being provided to girls and women through Sakhi One-Stop Center, the minister directed to give benefits to more and more women and girls by spreading wide publicity regarding it.
She was informed about the ongoing Back to School campaign in Ramgarh district, Pradhan Mantri Matritva Vandana Yojana, regular vaccination run by the Health Department, UDID card for the differently-abled, minor irrigation, animal vaccination, Jal Jeevan Mission and other development works. Information was given in it, after which she gave necessary instructions regarding doing the work in an even better way.
She discussed the construction of ponds under MNREGA, DDRC (District Disability Rehabilitation Center), Jal Jeevan Mission, Skill Development Center and other important subjects including Deputy Development Commissioner under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence.
After the meeting, the minister inspected the Vatsalya Dham located in Chhatarmandu and took stock of the facilities being provided to the children. On the occasion, she presented fruits as a gift to the children, the children also presented the painting made with their own hands to the minister.
