Lucknow, March 3: The sixth phase of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly election is being held in 57 Assembly constituencies across ten districts, including Gorakhpur, Ambedkarnagar, Ballia, Balrampur, Basti, Deoria, and Kushinagar.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is one of the notable candidates in the sixth round of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, which features 676 candidates. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath cast his vote in Gorakhpur earlier today, predicting that the Bharatiya Janata Party will win more than 80% of the seats in the state.
A total of 2,14,62,816 voters, including 1,14,63,113 men, 99,98,383 women, and 1,320 third genders, are scheduled to vote to determine the fate of 676 candidates.
Ambedkar Nagar, Balrampur, Siddharth Nagar, Basti, Sant Kabir Nagar, Maharajganj, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar, Deoria, and Ballia are among the districts that will vote on Thursday.
An average of 8.69% polling has been recorded in the first two hours with the highest in Basti and Kushinagar districts.
