Munna Alvi of Bangarmau, Shyam Sundar Bharati of Bachrava, Tahir Khan of Isauli, and Vishambhar Yadav of Baberu are the remaining four candidates.

Mayank Joshi, the son of BJP Member of Parliament Rita Bahuguna Joshi, was said to be joining the Samajwadi Party before of the elections. According to certain rumours, he was considered for the Lucknow Cantt seat, but as it stands now, the SP has fielded Raju Gandhi.

Since, Lucknow Cantt has a large Brahmin vote share, all parties are attempting to field Brahmin candidates for the seat.

Akhilesh Yadav, the SP head, will run for the Karhal assembly seat. Nahid Hasan of the Kairana assembly seat, Abdullah Azam Khan of the Suar assembly seat, Azam Khan of the Rampur assembly seat, and Shivpal Singh Yadav of Jaswantnagar are among the other notable names.
