Jamshedpur, Aug 22: Melinda Pavek, Consul General, US Consulate Kolkata, will be visiting Jamshedpur from August 24 to August 26.
She will be attending a seminar on “Emerging opportunities in Jharkhand in collaboration with the USA”.
The seminar will be organised by the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC), Jamshedpur Chapter. The event will take place at The Ramada Hotel in Bistupur on August 24.
Indo American Chamber of Commerce (IACC), established in 1968, is the apex bi-lateral Chamber synergizing India-US Economic Engagement.
The IACC, East India Council is one of the most vibrant centres of facilitating trade, commerce and favourable business policies for organizations that intend to have a footprint in the two major economies.
The seminar assumes significance with the recent economic interest between the two countries.
During her stay, she will also be visiting XLRI, Tata Steel, M/s Cummins India, M/s Timken India and RSB Group companies.
