Ranchi, Aug 30: Uttara Ladies Club in Northern region HQs celebrated the festival of Teej on Aug 27.

Karabi Sen, President of Uttara Ladies Club graced the occasion as the chief guest. She addressed all committee members and general members of the club on this august occasion.

Teej, the festival primarily dedicated to Goddess Parvati and her union with Lord Shiva, is celebrated by women across India with gaiety and fervour.

Several cultural programs, Mehendi competition, and the Teej queen contest were the hallmark of the celebration at NTPC NRHQ. All members participated in the programs with enthusiasm, grit, and passion.

Anjali Gupta was adjudged as the ‘Teej Queen 2022’. A fusillade of ‘lateral thinking’ and questions was unleashed on the contestants by the judges which made the ‘Teej queen’ contest interesting.

Being the last program of the tenure of Karabi Sen, the celebration was done in a befitting manner. The program culminated with mouth-watering dishes.
