Hazaribag, May 14: Vice Chancellor of Vinoba Bhave University (VBU) Dr Mukul Narayan Dev encouraged the school children after flagging off the skating marathon race on the varsity campus this afternoon. Students from different schools in the city and of different age groups were seen as excited.
Dev said the skating marathon race has special significance. The mode of skating gives the message of establishing balance in life. For this, it is necessary to follow continuous practice and concentration. Dev wished students a bright future and urged them to participate in marathons with sporting spirit.
Students from many schools including DPS, St. Xavier’s, Angel High and DAV participated in this competition.
Akram Khan, Director of Skating Academy played a key role in making the event successful.
On the occasion, special guest Vinoba Bhave University’s finance advisor Sunil Kumar Singh, RUSA Coordinator Dr Chandrashekhar Singh, Dr Ambedkar Bhagwat and many others were present.
