Ranchi, July 7: Saplings of teak and rosewood were planted in Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir premises in Dhurva on the concluding day of weeklong Van Mahotsav, a programme for environmental protection.
In-charge of Ranchi branch of Central Bureau of Communication, Sahil Rahman, accompanied by other officials Shrikant Modi and Mohammad Shafiq Alam were present on the occasion with school principal Sandhya Singh and other senior teaching and non-teaching staff.
Students were administered oaths to save the environment.
