Vigilance awareness week concludes at NTPC Coal Mining HQ

Ranchi, Nov.1: Vigilance Awareness Week in NTPC Coal Mining HQ concluded today with a workshop by Supriyo Bose, AGM(Vigilance) of North Karanpura and Patratu.

 

Regional executive director (coal mining) Partha Mazumder inaugurated the workshop, which ended withan interactive session. On this occasion, a book on Ethics was presented to the faculty.

 

Earlier, as per communication from the Central Vigilance Commission, vigilance week was organized on the theme – “Independent India @75: Self Reliance with Integrity”.

 

The series of programmes organized during the week included a speech competition for employees and their children on “Independent India @75: Self Reliance with Integrity”, poster competition for children and essay and slogan competition for the housewives.

 

Other programmes included integrity pledge, speech competition and quiz competition on vigilance for students at Xavier’s Institute of Social Service (XISS), a premier management institution of Ranchi.

 

The event was followed by prize distribution. Alois Topno, GM(HR), NTPC CMHQ, Amar Tigga, Dean, XISS, Dr. R.K. Agarwal, HOD-HRM and Wilson Abraham, AGM(HR) were present on this important occasion. The main thrust was given to the awareness of Public Interest Disclosure and Protection of Informer Resolution, 2004 (PIDPI).
