Gumla, June 25: The executive and annual general body meeting of Vikas Bharti was held at Bishunpur, Gumla headquarters on June 24 and June 25 in the presence of Dr Ajay Kumar Singh, President and Padmashree Ashok Bhagat, Head Co-General Secretary of the organization.
The organisation is working in 27 thousand villages of Jharkhand for the last 40 years in the sphere of health, skill development, agriculture, education and social upliftment.
Officer training cum level standardization program was also held on the 24th and 25th of June.
In this two-day meeting, a workshop was organized at Bishunpur, Gumla district of Jharkhand, with heads and in-charges of various projects, on capacity building for proper planning of financial, accounting and works of the institute, as well as for flawless planning of the project.
Along with this, founder Padmashree Ashok Bhagat was unanimously elected as general secretary and Dr Ajay Kumar Singh as president again in the general meeting, representatives of all 24 districts of Jharkhand participated in the two-day meeting, Vice President Ranjana Chowdhary, Mr Anil Bhagat, Joint Secretary Mahendra Bhagat, Dr RP Singh Ratan, Kosh President Basant Ohdar, Nikhilesh Maithi, Samrat ji, Kunti Devi, Jai Mangal Oraon ji along with 300 delegates participated
