Chandigarh: Self-proclaimed Christian prophet Bajinder Singh has sparked outrage once again after a video surfaced showing him assaulting a man and a woman inside his office. The footage, reportedly from February 2025, has gone viral on social media, further intensifying public scrutiny of the controversial pastor, who is already facing serious allegations in an ongoing sexual harassment case.
Known for his viral sermons featuring chants of “Mera Yashu Yashu,” the 42-year-old pastor from Punjab can be seen in the video hurling a mobile phone at a man before striking him with a purse and slapping him in the presence of staff members. Moments later, he is seen turning his aggression toward a woman who had visited his office with her child. The video captures Singh slapping her, prompting others in the room to intervene and sparking a heated argument.
The incident has drawn sharp criticism online, especially as it comes just days after the Kapurthala Police booked Singh under multiple charges, including sexual harassment, stalking, and criminal intimidation. According to the FIR, the complainant—a 22-year-old woman—accused Singh of making repeated unwanted advances toward her since she was 17, touching her inappropriately, and pressuring her to marry him despite knowing she was already married.
Singh has denied all allegations, claiming he is the target of a conspiracy orchestrated by a rival pastor.
Bajinder Singh heads the Church of Glory and Wisdom, which operates branches in Jalandhar and New Chandigarh, as per information available on the church’s official website.
The latest video has intensified calls for action against Singh, with many questioning how such a figure continues to operate unchecked despite mounting accusations.
