New Delhi, Feb 18: WhatsApp has released an interesting upgrade for iOS users. Users of the iPhone and iPad will now be able to listen to voice notes on WhatsApp even outside the chat.
This implies that if you’re listening to a voice note, it won’t stop playing when you switch chats. Previously, switching to a different chat while listening to a voice note would cause the voice note to cease playing. On the desktop versions of WhatsApp, the identical feature was found being tested.
Users must update their phones to the latest WhatsApp for iOS v22.4.75 version to get the new feature. They will be able to respond to multiple chats while still listening to the voice note using this capability.
This feature is not currently available for Android or web users. WhatsApp has not stated when the device would be available.
WhatsApp has been experimenting with the feature for some time. The messaging platform was putting the feature to the test on the web version of the app as well. T
he audio player will show at the bottom of the web version. WhatsApp had already included the option to pause and resume voice notes. This allows users to pause the recording of a voice note and then restart it later. Previously, customers had to record the voice message all at once.
