Noida: A red Lamborghini that rammed into two labourers in Noida’s Sector 94 on Sunday evening, leaving them injured, is registered under the name of Mridul Tiwari, a popular YouTuber known for his comedy videos. While the car was being driven by Deepak Kumar, a car dealer from Ajmer, Rajasthan, Noida Police confirmed the luxury car belongs to Tiwari, who has over 18 million subscribers on YouTube.
The incident occurred near the Charkha roundabout around 5 pm when the two labourers from Chhattisgarh were sitting on the footpath. The speeding Lamborghini lost control and struck them. Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital and are said to be out of danger, having sustained leg fractures, said Noida ADCP Sumit Shukla.
Who Is Mridul Tiwari?
Mridul Tiwari, 24, is a resident of Greater Noida, originally from Etawah, Uttar Pradesh. He runs a popular YouTube channel named ‘The MriDul’, which he started in October 2018 with a video titled Sister vs Girlfriend. His comedy content quickly gained traction, and the channel crossed 1 lakh subscribers by September 2019, reaching 10 lakh by March 2020. Today, it boasts over 1.8 crore subscribers.
Tiwari is also active on Instagram, where he has over 3 million followers. He made headlines in 2023 when he acquired a Lamborghini Huracan, reportedly the first in Greater Noida. One of his Instagram posts even referred to it as the “World’s 1st Lamborghini with Jai Shree Ram” inscribed on it.
Accident Under Probe
According to police, the Lamborghini was being test driven by Deepak, a car dealer, who had come to check the car’s condition as Tiwari was reportedly planning to sell it. The vehicle is registered in Pondicherry, and during interrogation, Deepak claimed the accident happened due to a fault in the car.
Police are currently investigating the incident further. Meanwhile, a video purportedly showing the moments after the crash surfaced on social media, where the driver is heard asking, “Koi mar gaya idhar? (Did anyone die here?)”

The incident has stirred debate on reckless driving in luxury cars, especially those being test-driven in public spaces. It has also drawn attention to the responsibilities of social media influencers who often feature luxury vehicles in their content.
