Ramgarh, Sept 10: Police arrested a woman for killing her younger brother and hiding the body inside her house for two and a half months. The woman named Chanchal Kumari is under interrogation and Police are trying to find the motive behind the murder.
The incident took place at Panch Mandir Panchayat area of ??Patratu police station under Ramgarh district. The body of the youth, named Rahul Kumar, was found on Saturday afternoon.
Police sources said that Rohit, the 21-year-old son of Naresh Mahato, resident of Bartua village of Patratu, was missing since June 30. Father Naresh Mahto alleged that his son had gone to the house of his cousin Dilip Mahto, who is a resident of Ranchi on June 24.
He added that on June 30, here daughter Chanchal called her brother and asked him to come to her house. Chanchal received him from Ranchi bus stand and took him to Ramgarh. Naresh Mahato alleged that Chanchal had killed her brother and buried the dead body in the house.
After this, Chanchal Kumari was called to the police station and was interrogated. It was found that she had buried the dead body in the house after killing him. Ramgarh SP Piyush Pandey confirmed the incident.
