New Delhi: The Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi has issued notices to Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and others, seeking their response on an appeal challenging his acquittal in a sexual harassment case filed by women wrestlers.
Next Hearing Fixed for October 9
The Sessions Court has set October 9 as the next date of hearing in the case. A magistrate’s court had earlier acquitted Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and Vinod Tomar on August 3 citing lack of evidence, a verdict that has now been challenged by six women wrestlers, including world championship medallist Vinesh Phogat.
