Jamshedpur, June 15: In the 4th edition of the Positive Impact Rating (PIR), XLRI – Jamshedpur was one amongst the seven B-Schools to achieve the highest level 5 of the PIR as “Pioneering Schools.”
XLRI participated in the Positive Impact Rating (PIR) for the fourth consecutive year. Level 5- Pioneering Schools features seven schools with an average score of 9.2.
Six come from Asia and one from South America.
The Positive Impact Rating 2023 Report entitled “Accelerating the societal impact of business schools” was launched at the 2023 PRME Global Forum in New York.
The social impact levels of 71 business schools from 25 countries were announced by Prof. Thomas Dyllick of the Positive Impact Rating Association and Lauriane Dietrichs, Vice President of Oikos International and PIR Board Member.

And from 2021-2023, we have consistently been ranked in Level 5: Pioneering Schools, the highest level in PIR. We stand strong with a unique and sustaining global leadership progress. Our students have a fine vision of making the planet a better place for all and are able to engage even for global action.”
As an institution, XLRI always strives to push forth ideas with a sense of responsibility ingrained in their thought to bring about change for the betterment of society at large.
Officials of the B-School said PIR is a tool for the next generation of change agents and hopes to serve as an inspirational list of impact-driven business schools around the world.
