Jamshedpur, Dec 24: After two years of wait, XLRI is back with Jamshedpur’s favourite fair to make this January more fun.

This famous fair, which has been running for the past 42 years, also known as the Maxi Fair, holds a very special place in the hearts of the people of Jamshedpur and will be held on  January 21 and 22. It has everything from competitions for people of all age groups to food stalls.

Maxi Fair is organized every year by the students of the Marketing Association of XLRI. It was first held in 1979 and Sharad Sarin, a senior professor of marketing at XLRI, was the biggest contributor to starting it. For the people of Jamshedpur, this is just a normal fair, but for the management students of XLRI, it is a way to research.

Every year companies like HUL, ITC, Nestle, and Cadbury solve many research problems during Maxi Fair. Like every year, it will be held in XLRI’s football ground. For the entertainment of children, not only will the fair have fun rides, games, etc. but will also have lots of competitions.

There will be competitions like Art Attack, Fancy dress, and Dance mania for kids, and Miss & Mrs Jamshedpur, Jamshedpur’s Favorite family, and Masterchef for the adults, so that you can win exciting gifts. There will also be a variety of shops and food stalls so that you can buy your Lucknowi Jootis as well as eat your favourite chaat.

The 43rd edition of the fair has something to entertain all members of the family.
