Jamshedpur, Oct 6: XLRI will host the third edition of its flagship conclave on consulting – Fulcrum, scheduled on October 7, Saturday.
The event will be facilitated by the Kautilya Consulting Club members.
The theme for the conclave is, “Unlocking value in a resource-constrained world”.
Fulcrum’s objective is to embrace various aspects related to the fusion of digital revolution and human awareness, facilitated by Industry 5.0 and Generative AI.
This fusion aims to reshape business processes, enabling organizations to become agile and resilient in the face of disruptions.
The question then becomes, what strategies can be employed to sustain commercial excellence in a world with limited resources?
In this ever-evolving business landscape, there is an inevitable need to minimize resource wastage, embrace the 5Rs of circular economy and extend product lifespan to achieve a blend of impressive margins and sustainability in businesses.
The annual consulting conclave invites corporate executives possessing a myriad of expertise in healthcare, retail and consumer, ITES, cybersecurity, forensic intelligence, cloud and automation, financial services, and the like to participate in thought-provoking discussions on their own success stories and challenges on how to formulate strategies to thrive in this VUCA world.

The conclave starts with the first keynote address by Navnit Singh, chairman and regional managing director, Korn Ferry (India), followed by the next address by Anurag Gupta, India Leader- Business Consulting, EY Parthenon on “India @100”.
The first-panel discussion on ‘Industry 5.0: Transforming for Sustainable Growth and Change in Business Strategy’ will see participation from prominent industry leaders.
This discussion is followed by a keynote session by Nitin Sethi, CEO- India & South Asia, AON Consulting, which further explores the nuances of the consulting sphere.
The second-panel discussion will be on ‘Navigating Commercial Excellence & Growth in the Resource Constrained World: Strategies for Success’ which will attract insights and perspectives from industry experts.
The third and final panel discussion will be on the topic ‘Generative AI: The Future of Business & HR.”
