XLRI’s flagship MBA programme achieves 100 % placement; Rs 45 lakh highest salary

Jamshedpur, May 16: The placement drive for XLRI’s 15-month flagship MBA programme for sessions 2021-22 was a resounding success with 100% placements achieved.

The batch comprised 114 finest handpicked talents out of which 112 opted for the placement process, each of whose aspirations was met as part of the endeavour to accomplish stellar placements.

The students came with rich experiences of previously donning various hats in domains such as Project Management, Product Management, Consulting, Marketing, Software Technologies, and HR from Fortune 500 companies, Big 4’s, Unicorns, and other leading organizations. Further, the average work experience of the cohort was 6 years and the average age was 28 years.

The B- school was ecstatic to receive an overwhelming response from the industry with the likes of Microsoft, Bain & Co., Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte, Accenture, Ericsson, Virtusa, and Deutsche Bank took part in the recruitment process.

Various interesting roles were offered to the class of 2022 including Senior Manager, Senior Consultant, Program Manager, Product Manager, Business Portfolio Owner, Global Engagement Manager, Solution Architect, and Business Development Manager.

According to statistics,  XLRI’s ExPGDM witnessed an increase in the average CTC by 40% and an increase in the median by 41% to  Rs 26.56 lakhs per annum.

The placement batch size comprised 114 students with 28 years being the average age of candidates. The highest salary was Rs 44.74 lakh while the median salary was Rs 26 lakh per annum. The average salary was Rs 34.24 lakh per annum.
