New Delhi: Yograj Singh, the father of former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, has once again publicly criticized MS Dhoni, the former captain of the Indian cricket team. Known for his frequent attacks on Dhoni, Yograj has accused him of derailing his son’s career and declared that Dhoni will “never be forgiven” for his actions. His recent comments have gained significant attention on social media.

In a recent interview with Zee Switch on YouTube, Yograj Singh expressed his deep-seated anger towards Dhoni. “I won’t forgive MS Dhoni. He should look at his face in the mirror. He may be a great cricketer, but what he has done against my son is unforgivable. Everything is coming out now, and it can never be forgiven in life,” he said.

Yograj also reflected on his own principles, stating, “I have never forgiven anyone who has wronged me, and I have never hugged them, be it family members or my kids.”

This isn’t the first time that Yograj Singh has targeted Dhoni with such harsh criticism. Earlier this year, the 66-year-old made headlines by blaming Dhoni for Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) loss in the 2024 IPL season, attributing the defeat to what he described as Dhoni’s “bad deeds.” He even suggested that Dhoni was “jealous” of Yuvraj Singh’s success.

“CSK lost IPL 2024. Why did they lose? It’s because of the principle of ‘you reap what you sow.’ Yuvraj Singh is the ICC Ambassador, and I am proud of him. But this jealous Dhoni, where is he? He didn’t even shake hands with Yuvraj, and that’s why CSK failed this year,” Yograj had asserted in a video that quickly went viral.

MS Dhoni, who retired from international cricket in August 2020, remains an active player in the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, uncertainty looms over his future with CSK, as there has been no official announcement regarding his participation in the next IPL season. Dhoni’s ongoing legacy and Yograj Singh’s relentless criticism continue to fuel public debate in the cricketing world.
