Dhanbad, Sept 21: The East Central Railway (ECR) zone has diverted a total of 14 up and down trains of Grand Chord lines following the derailment of 20 wagons of goods train at Kumahu railway station between Gaya and Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay rail section on Wednesday morning.
The senior official of the Dhanbad Rail Division said that the derailment occurred around 6.30 am on Wednesday and repairing work is in progress.
The movement of following trains has been affected due to derailment of goods train wagons:
Up line diverted trains
- Train no. 12311 Howrah- Kalka Express will run via Dehri-on Sone, Garhwa Road- Chunar
2. Train no. 13009 Howrah –Yognagri Rishikesh Express will also run Dehri-on Sone, Garhwa Road- Chunar
3. Train no. 12987 Sealdah Ajumer Express will run Dehri-on Sone, Garhwa Road- Chunar
4. Train No. 12321 Howrah Mumbai Express will run via Gaya- Patna – Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Junction
5. Train no. 12307 Howrah –Jodhpur Express would also run via Gaya- Patna – Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Junction
Down line diverted trains
- Train no 12260 Bikaner – Seaildah Express would run via main line Patna –Jha Jha stations rather than Gaya – Dhanbad.
2. Train no. 12802 New Delhi –Puri Express would run via route of Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay- Patna- Rajgir, Bakhtiyarpur , Tilaiya- Gaya.
3. Train no. 12350 New Delhi –Godda Express has been diverted via Patna- Kiul station.
4. Train no. 12444 Anand Vihar- Haldia Express would run through main line Patna- Jha Jha stations
5. Train no. 13152 Jammu Tabbi – Kolkata Express would run via main line Patna – Jha Jha route.
6. Train no. 12382 Delhi –Howrah Express would also diverted from main line of Patna – Jha Jha railway station rather than Gaya – Dhanbad route.
7. Train no. 13554 Varanasi- Asonsol Express would return from Syedraja station rather completing the movement.
8. Train no. 03384 Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay junction- Gaya passenger special would also return from Pusoli railwaysttion rather completing at Gaya station.
9. Train. 13249 / 13250 Patna- Bhabua passenger would return from Sasaram station.
