25 Jharkhand police officers promoted to IPS rank get batch allotment

Ranchi: The batch of 25 police officers who were promoted to the IPS rank has been allotted. The Union Home Ministry has issued orders related to this.

Notably, the Jharkhand Government had written a letter to the Union Home Ministry on September 13 and 14, and sent a proposal for determining the seniority/year of allotment on the basis of inclusion of their names in the selection list of 25 IPS officers appointed on promotion from SPS quota.

As per Rule 4 of the IPS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1988, the appointment of the above officers in the civil list will be as follows

– Anand Prakash will be placed below 2012 batch IPS officer Mohammad Arshi of Jharkhand cadre and above 2013 batch IPS officer Anshuman Kumar of Jharkhand cadre.

– Sarojini Lakra, Emelda Ekka, Sadiq Anwar Rizvi, Arvind Kumar Singh, Vikas Kumar Pandey, Vijay Ashish Kujur will be placed below 2014 batch IPS officer Aman Kumar of Jharkhand cadre and above 2015 batch IPS Ehtesham Waqarib.

– Deepak Kumar Sharma, Rajkumar Mehta, Shambhu Kumar Singh, Ajay Kumar Sinha, Anudeep Singh, Pujya Prakash, Sahdeo Sao, Amit Kumar Singh, Ajit Kumar, Mukesh Kumar, Deepak Kumar Pandey, Animesh Naithani will be placed below 2016 batch IPS Amit Renu of Jharkhand cadre and above 2017 batch IPS officer Kumar Gaurav.

— Ajay Kumar-1, Arif Ekram, Dr. Vimal Kumar, Manish Toppo, Kailash Karmali and Pitambar Singh Kherwar will be placed below 2017 batch IPS Reeshma RK Rashmi of Jharkhand cadre and above Vijay Shankar.
