Ramgarh March 20: A three-day multimedia exhibition was organized by the Central Bureau of Communications at Ramgarh College. The exhibition was attended by the Additional Director General, Central Bureau of Communications, Ranchi/Dumka, Press Information Bureau, Ranchi and RNI Akhil Kumar Mishra today. The program was inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner of Ramgarh, Madhavi Mishra.
The Additional Director General and Deputy Commissioner were honoured with a memento and a shawl. They also took part in the selfie campaign organised during the programme. Along with this, Akhil Kumar Mishra and Madhavi Mishra launched a publicity vehicle to inform people in the district’s remote areas about the three-day exhibition programme and various themes related to it.
While giving information about the highlights of the exhibition, Akhil Kumar Mishra appealed to everyone to inform their parents and other people in the area about the exhibition. At the same time, he encouraged everyone to participate in various competitions held during the three-day exhibition programme. On the occasion, he informed everyone about the significance of the exhibition’s themes, such as the International Year of Millets and World Sparrow Day.
The Deputy Commissioner stated that the three-day exhibition programme is a reason for happiness and pride for the people of Ramgarh district. She honoured various freedom fighters of Jharkhand to celebrate the spirit of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. Madhavi Mishra referred to the various days that will be celebrated in the three-day exhibition programme which will be World Gauraiya Day and World Happiness Day. The Deputy Commissioner also emphasized the International Millet Year and urged the folks to work together to eliminate malnutrition and educate as many people as possible about the benefits of millet.
Finally, Shahid Rehman, Head of Office, Central Bureau of Communications, Ranchi along with wishing everyone a Happy World Sparrow Day, gave thorough details on the steps that people can take to increase the number of sparrows in the country.
