Ranchi, Feb 21: A total of 409 SC, ST and EWS students are set to file a PIL against the Jharkhand Public Service Commission on Tuesday for removing them from the earlier approved list.

Kailash Kumar, the applicant of the case to be filed on Tuesday that there are many types of errors in the revised result by JPSC. “JPSC has proved to be a complete failure in removing these errors. JPSC is one such institute, which fails the students after declaring them passed. The reason for the failure is not yet clear.”

Kumar said that 409 pass students failed. As per the guidelines, the OMR sheets of the students should have been uploaded on the respective site but they have been published should have shown selected students 15 times the number of vacancies.

However, in a hurry JPSC published the result here wherein the roll number of students of other categories including ST, SC and General should have been published according to the category. This, however, has not been done. Kumar further said that if the revised result is not released by JPSC, then we will fight in court and demand a revised result. All 409 students have united against JPSC. Everyone is ready to make a case against JPSC through donations, the case will be taken up in the High Court.

Notably, after the intervention of the High Court, the revised result was released by JPSC in haste. A total of 409 SC, ST and EWS students were excluded from the revised list after being declared successful in the earlier result of JPSC. Dissatisfied with this, the students are preparing to go to the court again against JPSC.
