Ramgarh, July 13: The 58-km stretch of the Patratu-Jarangdih BG double line project was finally completed on Tuesday.
In the final phase of the project, under the Jarangdih-Dania 29 km long double line project, the 5.5 km long Bokaro Thermal-Gomia railway section was inspected by the Commissioner of Railway Safety, Eastern Circle, Kolkata Sounmay Mitra.
During the inspection, Bokaro Thermal-Gomia Station North and South Line were inspected by a motor trolley. Meanwhile, the bridge-culvert, station building etc. were also closely reviewed.
This was followed by a speed trial at a speed of 110 kmph. After the success of the speed trial, the train operation got the green signal on the newly constructed double line with some instructions.
With the completion of the Patratu-Jarangdih double line, not only the passenger convenience will increase but trains will also be operated on time.
Since coal is sent to every part of the country from the railway siding of the Dhanbad division CIC section, the operation of goods trains will also be easy and the loaded goods will also be made available quickly as the goods trains will also reach their destination in less time.
ADRM Operation Ashish Kumar, Senior DOM Dhanbad Pankaj Kumar, Senior DSTE Gautam Gupta, Senior DEN Co-ordination Amit Kumar, Deputy CE Construction Kunal Kumar, Deputy CSTE Sumant Lal, IOW Anil Kumar Rajak, TI Vivek Kumar were present during the inspection.
