74 teachers found absent in Hazaribag government schools

Hazaribag, May.8: The Hazaribag district administration today conducted surprise inspections in 240 government schools simultaneously and found as many as 74 teachers absent from duty.

The inspection was conducted at the instruction of DC Nancy Sahay by a team formed at the district level to check the attendance of teachers as per the timetable of all the government schools in the district.

The team formed under the chairmanship of Sahay with a total of 42 members, including BDOs, COs and district-level officers of all the blocks, was ordered to conduct a surprise inspection simultaneously in the government schools.

On the complaint of the absence of teachers received from many sources, Sahay ordered this work to carry out this work in a coordinated manner. She also conducted a surprise inspection of three schools, including Ananda Plus Two High School, Middle School, Noora and  Shri Krishna Reserve Children’s High School. During this, she made a thorough investigation of sanctioned posts, working posts, and the number of teachers present at the time of inspection. She noted down the names and designation of absent teachers.
