Ranchi, Aug 4: Jharkhand Assembly Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahato on Thursday revoked the suspension of all the four BJP MLAs who were suspended on August 2.
The order came after Parliamentary Affairs Minister Alamgir Alam requested the speaker for the same.
Revoking the suspension, Speaker Mahto observed that sometimes action of suspension is taken unwillingly to maintain the dignity of the house.
He sent MLAs Deepak Birua (JMM) and Umashankar Akela (Congress) to bring the suspended BJP legislators Bhanu Pratap Shahi, Jai Prakash Bhai Patel, Dhullu Mahto and Randhir Prasad Singh, back into the house with proper respect and honour.
After the suspension was revoked, normal business in the house started.

Earlier, outside the house, the BJP legislators staged demonstrations against the state government. The MLAs were accusing the government of giving protection to cow smugglers. They said that illegal smuggling of sand, coal and stones was taking place in the state under the protection of the police administration. The BJP MLAs also demanded a CBI inquiry into the murder of Inspector Sandhya Topno.
